Start by placing the roll of underlay at one end of the room and unroll from wall to wall. Mark the floor off with lines a and these will serve as guide lines as the y line runs through the centre point of the two planks once they have been joined. Use a rafter square to place the first piece at a 45 degree angle to the centerline then zigzag out to the side overlapping pieces at 90 degrees to adjust for length.
Remove the dry fit boards and spread adhesive for the first few rows making sure to use the appropriate adhesive and trowel.
