Snap the new board into place by putting the tongue into. Slide the curved end of the pry bar behind the rear face of the moulding then pull it gently until it comes away from the wall. Pry up the boards starting at the wall until you get to the damaged ones.
Cut to the corners. Remove the bottom lip. Remove the moulding around the edges of the room.
After you have removed the trim you have to disconnect the laminate flooring boards one by one by lifting them at about 45ยบ until you disengage their tongue and grooves. Replace them one by one as needed. In from all four.
You ll want to locate the wall that is closest to the damaged plank then you ll want to remove the molding along that. Wear safety glasses and use a putty knife to remove any molding or baseboards around the perimeter of the damaged area. Go around the room and strip the baseboards foot moulding and any other low lying trim components using a pry bar.
Now you have to reach the damaged plank the only way to do it is to disassemble all the planks around by disconnecting.
